The State of Nature
BSBI was one of 25 conservation and research organisations contributing to the ground-breaking 'State of Nature' report. Dr Kevin Walker, BSBI Head of Science, worked alongside a coalition of scientists from partner organisations to help produce the report, a stock take of our native species across the UK and Overseas Territories.
The 'State of Nature' report was launched at the Natural History Museum, London, on 22nd May 2013 by Sir David Attenborough and other UK conservationists, with simultaneous events held in Edinburgh, Cardiff and Belfast.
