Recorders' Meeting
The Recorders’ Meetings aim is to provide skills and training sessions, particularly for botanists wanting to progress in their recording. They are also of general interest and provide for discussions amongst all attendees. The programme is deliberately flexible in order to accommodate any weather window that will allow a group visit to a local site or sites. The sessions and talks are given by participants. FSC Preston Montford hosted the first three Meetings, with the most recent one taking place in April 2024. The Meetings are organised by the Committee for England, but are open to botanists from across the BSBI and to non-members.
In 2025 the Meeting moves to FSC Juniper Hall in order to provide a shorter travel distance for those in southern England. More information is available on the event page.

The 2024 Recorders’ Meeting ran from April 19 to 21. The meeting was aimed at anyone who wanted to start making plant records for the BSBI, and it was also for existing or potential County Recorders and referees.
