Irish Autumn Meeting 2024
A great day was had by all at this year's Irish Autumn Meeting and AGM, held on Saturday 12th October at Lough Neagh (Oxford Island) Discovery Centre, Northern Ireland. Aquatic Plant Field Outing with Nick Stewart
Following on from his great ID workshop at the Irish Autumn Meeting and AGM, on the next day, Sunday 13th October, aquatic plant expert Nick Stewart led a fantastic field outing, looking at the aquatic plants found in Lough Neagh and giving us lots of i.d. tips on working out which groups the various plants belonged to, what features to look out for, and how to tell apart the different species within each group (Nick's incredibly helpful ID keys and crib sheets are also available to download on out Aquatic Plant Project page, free of charge)

2023 Irish Autumn Meeting & AGM
Last year's Irish Autumn Meeting and AGM took place at the National Botanic Gardens, Glasnevin, Dublin on Saturday 21st October 2023.

2022 Irish Autumn Meeting
Fifty botanists enjoyed meeting up and watching the talks at this year's Irish Autumn Meeting on Saturday, 24th September at the National Botanic Gardens Glasnevin. After lunch there were two workshops - on Scaly Male-ferns by Alison Evans and a visit to look at aquatics in the ponds in the gardens with Nick Stewart.
