- Taraxacum sellandi
Native. Very common and widespread throughout lowland Britain but largely absent from northern Scotland. Grows in a wide variety of habitats, often in walls.
T. sellandii is a robust species with green petioles, rather dark leaves with black smudging down the side of the midrib above, side lobes with large teeth distally and arched proximally, and heavy bracts, leaden with a violet cast.
