Taraxacum pallescens “Pink-stalked Dandelion”
Section: Ruderalia
Native. Widespread but thinly distributed in lowland England and Wales, often in old grasslands, but also walls etc.
T. pallescens is a classic Alata group species with green winged petioles and rather broad and heavy pruinose sigmoid exterior bracts. It is best separated from its nearest relative, T. alatum by broader more recurved leaf side lobes, typically with 1-2 large teeth distally.
