Taraxacum interveniens “City Dandelion”

Introduced. Scattered through England, Wales and southern Scotland with a marked preference for large conurbations; London, Bristol, Cardiff, Teeside, Newcastle, Edinburgh etc.. Waste places, urban sites, walls, verges, gardens.
T. interveniens has narrow petioles, unwinged below, white on outer, pink on inner leaves. The leaves are narrow with sigmoid side-lobes and a characteristic end-lobe with rounded lobules and an extenuate apex. The rather small capitula are subtended by narrow, pale, reflexed exterior bracts.
