Native. Common and widespread in a variety of lowland habitats throughout Britain, but scarce in East Anglia. Grasslands, waste places, walls etc.
T. expallidiforme has green winged petioles, rather narrow strongly recurved exterior bracts and greyish ligule stripes. The leaf outline is narrowly ovate and the end-lobes rather short and obtuse with a slightly acuminate apex.
