Matt Harding, BSBI Scotland Officer, is leading this New Year Plant Hunt and says "Meet outside Stirling Train Station. We will potter round some nearby wasteground, then head up the Back Walk as we did last year (when we found 42 species still flowering around Stirling), which is steep but proved excellent for flowers. From the Castle area, we will make our way back down through town, and celebrate with a cuppa in a cafe. Bring warm clothes, outdoor boots, food and drink as needed. If it is icy we can vary the route accordingly".
