The meeting place is the National Trust Car park on the Dundrum Road towards Newcastle. This car park is free for NT members, so you will need your NT membership card to get a free ticket. For non-members the parking fee is £5.

Our route will be focussed in the southern end of Murlough NNR, and we will be walking through ancient dune heathland, mature dunes, the foreshore and grey dunes.

We will be looking for any wild or naturalised plant that is flowering over the New Year period, you might be surprised how many there are, and recording the details as part of the NYPH Citizen Science project.
