Join Jen Farrar (BSBI Botanical Skills Officer, Northern Ireland) for a
New Year Plant Hunt at the Ulster Wildlife sites at Balloo Woodlands and Balloo Wetlands.
The meeting place is at the entrance to Balloo Woodlands on Balloo Avenue. There is free on street parking.
We will initially walk through Balloo Woodland before moving the short distance to Innotec Drive to visit the Balloo Wetlands site.
We will be looking for any wild or naturalised plant that is flowering over the New Year period, you might be surprised how many there are, and recording the details as part of the NYPH Citizen Science project.
