The most notable find was that a colony of Cephalanthera longifolia that I survey every year had a bumper season, with 73 flowering plants. Better still, another site at about 500m distance had 64 flowering stems.  Although checking this site most years, I had found nothing since I discovered two flowering stems there in 1996.
