BSBI has three Standing Committees covering the key areas of our work, four Country Committees and a Board of Trustees, all of whom help shape our activities and plans, and are essential for the smooth running of the Society. You can view the list of current committee and Board members on our Governance page and BSBI members can view all committee papers, such as minutes, on our separate password-protected Governance website (if you are a member and have forgotten your password, please email enquiries@bsbi.org).
Committee members serve for a term of three years, so opportunities arise regularly for members to apply to fill a vacancy. We are currently looking to fill one vacancy on our Skills & Training Committee, and two vacancies on our Events & Communications Committee.
Most of all we need people with the enthusiasm and time to help us make a difference for botanists, botany and wild plants.
