Send your 2024 county report

This is an opportunity to showcase the wonderful work vice-county recorders undertake in their areas, to the BSBI membership and beyond. Thank you for all your efforts in 2024!

Please draft your report and ensure you have a copy saved on your computer before copying it and pasting text into the form below. We do not encourage drafting your report directly into this page as your report is not saved until it is successfully submitted.

Copied and pasted text may lose formatting when you paste it depending on your browser, so you may need to apply some final tweaks online. Unfortunately this is beyond our control.

We'd prefer a short and concise report, focusing on the highlights of your botanical year. If you're nearing the word limit then you can list your Interesting Finds separately, with photos, in the section below the County Report.

Please enter your name, as you would like it to appear on the report. If your county has joint recorders then please include everyone.

(This will be treated as confidential and will not be published) Please include your email address so we can let you know your report has been successfully submitted.

If you are submitting for joint vice-counties then you can select more than one on the drop down menu by pressing the ctrl key and clicking your chosen counties.

Please include a brief outline of your activities in 2023 in no more than 250 words. Reports will be published online and in print. We'd be particularly interested to read about any projects and fieldwork undertaken by you or your local groups; any talks, campaigns or collaborations; and any progress with rare plant registers, checklists or Floras. Include links for any recordings, publications or webpages mentioned in your report. Separately, you can list your 'interesting finds' alongside any photos using the section below. Please use Scientific (Common Name) format and check that spelling of both Scientific & Common names follow Stace edition 4.

If you wish you can add a single photo to accompany your report. Additional images can be included as part of the 'Interesting Finds' section, below. Submitted photos are subject to a Creative Commons CC-BY licence, so please make sure that you (or the photographer) are happy for these to be included.

Use this section to highlight some of your most interesting finds. You can include brief text and photos. Click 'add a botanical find' to get started. Please add a new section for each separate find. You can delete entries by hovering over them and clicking the '-' button. Remember to use Scientific (Common Name) format and check the spelling of both Scientific & Common names in Stace.
