This is a workshop for beginners and improvers looking at the plants associated with upland farming. Kittyfield is principally a livestock farm but a wide range of arable weeds have been recorded here. We would expect to see Fumitories, Crucifers, Lamiums, Galeopsis, Veronicas and Cirsium among others. We will also look at grasses, both sown species and those that are considered weeds. If time permits we will look at invasive plants spreading along the Tweed.
