Taraxacum pannucium “Green-stalked Dandelion”
Section: Ruderalia
Native. Generally distributed throughout Britain, but rather local, and perhaps less common than formerly. Grasslands, hedgebanks, walls.
T. pannucium has the green petioles with parallel-sided wings and short, spreading, sigmoid bracts of the Alata group. It has very narrow leaves with a long, narrow but obtuse end-lobe which is mostly entire. Ligules are striped greyish-pink and the top surface of the bracts leaden grey-violet.
